These are the strings Alembic ships on their new basses! Flexible and supple, the CX-3 final wrap is elliptical, not round. This compressed wire is bright like a roundwound, but wears less on frets and is quiet under your fretting hand. CX-3 strings are also suitable for fretless basses.
