Roscoe Century Standard 4 **SOLD**
Roscoe Century Standard 4 **SOLD**   (Item# 3887)

Description

Here's another incredible value from Roscoe. The bass (Serial Number D018) is a 4-string Century Standard. It features a solid Spanish Cedar body and a 3-piece Maple neck. 100% made in USA (Greensboro, NC, to be specific).

This bass has dots on the fretboard because it was possibly going to be owned by Cameron McClaughlin. Cameron likes dots on his fretboards so that his students have a reference when he's teaching. Roscoe built two basses just like this for him, one with Bartolini CB's (this one) and one with Bartolini "J" pickups. Cameron went with the J configuration, so this one is now available for sale!

This bass has been here over a year, so I'm allowed to knock 5% off to help encourage it to find a home. The bass was originally $2029, so now it's $1929.

Sound Clip

You can hear a sound clip of Cameron playing this bass in this thread on TalkBass.com.
