We recently commisioned 7 special instruments from Suhr. They all share a common theme: Spalted Maple tops, Brazillian Rosewood fretboards and black headstocks. We ordered one of almost every model, including a Classic J Bass and this chambered Classic T.

Suhr suggested we go the extra mile and make this a Limited Edition series. So all of the guitars have a special "Rocket Music" serial number, a spec plaque laser-etched on Spalted Maple, and a Rocket Music themed neckplate (on those models that have a neckplate).

This is the first time we've done a Limited Edition series like this, but I'm sure it will not be the last. These Spalted Maple LTD guitars are spectacular!

The entire series has been pretty lightweight despite the mahogany bodies and neck. This Classic T, being chambered, is REALLY light - it weighs in at just 6.3 lbs!!
